Anaford on Private Client Global Elite List 2018
We are pleased to announce that Milan Patel and Peter Cotorceanu have been elected by their peers to Legal Week’s prestigious Private Client Global Elite list for 2018.
The list is a directory of the world’s top international trust and private client lawyers as nominated and assessed by their peers. As such, it is a notable mark of the esteem in which our lawyers are held by fellow private client litigators, advisors and advocates.
Commenting on his inclusion, Milan Patel, Partner, said:”It is an honor to be acknowledged by one’s peers and be included in such a prestigious list in recognition of the thorough service and close client relationships that we foster at Anaford.” Milan heads the U.S. tax group in the Miami office focusing on Private Client matters with a particular emphasis on international tax, trusts and estates planning, succession planning, and cross-border business structuring. Milan also advises clients on U.S. expatriation (renunciation of U.S. citizenship) matters, finding alternative citizenship and residency solutions for U.S. citizens as well as nationals from other countries.
Commenting further, Peter Cotorceanu, stated: “I am honored to be included on Legal Week’s list among so many luminaries in the offshore planning world. “ Peter specializes in private-client practice, working with the private banking and fiduciary industry and the clients they serve and has a special emphasis on FATCA and CRS compliance for the trust industry. Peter also focuses on cross-border tax and structuring, asset protection, and multi-jurisdictional succession planning involving the use of trusts, foundations and other fiduciary arrangements, and international tax controversy work for private clients.
The Global Elite directory will be launched by Legal Week at a gala dinner to be held in London in October.
