Anaford’s Spanish / LatAm Teams promote from within
Anaford has the pleasure of announcing the appointment of Borja López Pol to the position of Partner within the Anaford Zurich office.
This appointment is in recognition of Borja’s widely recognized expertise in advising domestic and international Private Clients as well as his vast experience on corporate tax, non-residents tax and accounting law within Spanish and Latin American jurisdictions. He further possesses extensive knowledge in diverse corporate restructuring, real estate investment and private equity transactions. Anaford consider themselves fortunate to be able to promote a lawyer with such a deep knowledge of cross-jurisdictional requirements and proceedings that have developed out of Borja’s long experience in the practice of tax law with Anaford as well as within the Legal and Tax Department of a Big 4 accountancy firm and one of Spain’s most prestigious law firms.
As Partner, Borja will be looking to expand further upon our existing client base of international companies, companies’ groups and financial entities with distinct focus on general tax planning strategies, corporate income tax, indirect taxation and tax proceedings. “Consolidating our presence in Switzerland, Spain and the U.S. and continuing our international growth is an attractive challenge for Anaford and personally one I find immensely enjoyable” said Borja López Pol. “Overseas expansion represents a logical development bearing in mind Anaford´s DNA.
